Global Technical Regulation (GTR) Hydrogen Vehicles Kick-off meeting September 20-21, 2007 -
Bonn, Germany
Working Party 29 on Hydrogen Vehicles will have its kick-off meeting. The co-sponsors of the GTRs (US/JP/DE) submitted a plan to WP29 and it was approved in June (this will be added to the minutes) and the kick-off meeting will be held in Bonn, Germany, on September 20/21. Meetings will continue next year.

California’s Fleet Rule for Public Agencies and Utilities, title 13, California Code of
Regulations, sections 2022 and 2022.1, became effective January 5, 2007. The
regulation reduces diesel particulate matter emissions from on-road heavy duty
diesel-fueled vehicles owned or operated by a municipality or utility by requiring
the use of best available control technology (BACT). This seminar is designed to provide an opportunity for municipalities and utilities to learn about the regulation and to learn about types of devices and strategies available to assist with compliance.
